Interesting Places Must Visit at Kuala Lumpur
Want to know what are the top KL attractions? Perhaps you are new to Kuala Lumpur or just here for a short visit? What are the most popular things to do and places to see?
Here is my suggested list of 10 of the best tourist sights. People's tastes and interests vary so you may not agree with all of the top KL attractions on this list but hopefully there is something for everyone.

In no particular order:
1. Petronas Twin Towers/KLCC
Probably the most famous and frequently photographed Malaysian landmark, this striking building was, for a time, the world's tallest at 452m. You can queue for a ticket to visit the skybridge but you do not really need to - the best place to admire the construction is at ground level from a spot in the adjoining park known as KLCC. A trip to the Twin Towers could include visiting the giant shopping mall (Suria KLCC) at the foot of the towers, the Petrosains museum, Aquaria (an impressive oceanarium) or even a concert at the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.
2. Menara Kuala Lumpur - KL Tower
Another massive structure is the KL Tower, a 421m high telecommunications and broadcasting tower and one of the world's tallest. Built on top of a small hill, its height above sea level is 515m and you can get the best views of KL and the surrounding districts from its observation deck and revolving restaurant.
At the foot of the Tower is Bukit Nanas, a surviving area of rainforest in the heart of the city which is open to explore.
3. Merdeka Square
The copper-domed Sultan Abdul Samad Building on Merdeka Square in the heart of the city is probably KL's most recognizable landmark. Together with its neighbouring heritage buildings this is one of the capital's top tourist attractions.

4. KL Railway Station
An equally famous historic landmark is the old Kuala Lumpur Railway Station built in 1910 in Anglo-Mughal architectural style and designed by AB Hubback who was also the architect for many other famous buildings in Malaysia .
Railway enthusiasts and heritage lovers will appreciate the station building which contains a modest railway museum.
5. Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens
This green lung in the heart of the city contains many of the top KL attractions such as the popular KL Bird Park,the neighbouring Orchid & Hibiscus Gardens, the nearby Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park and some of KL's top museums such as the excellent Islamic Arts Museumand the fascinating Royal Malaysian Police Museum.
6. Petaling Street and Central Market
In the bustling heart of old KL, the so-called Chinatown district includes Petaling Street, famous for its street market, together with temples, restaurants, herbal remedy shops and so on. A few streets away is Central Market, a heritage building where you can find an extensive selection of Malaysian handicrafts, wood carvings, batik, pewterware, art works and other gift and souvenir items. 7. Bintang Walk
Not really my cup of tea but shopaholics should find satisfaction in this prime shopping district which includes many of KL's most popular shopping malls and plenty of eating choices.
Pavilion Mall is one of the newer, up-market malls. It also boasts one of the top food courts in the country.
8. Thean Hou Temple
This large and ornately decorated Chinese temple is dedicated to the Goddess Thean Hou (Tian Hou) and is a hugely popular place to visit among the local Chinese community especially during religious holidays and festivals.
Foreign tourists and photographers are frequent visitors too.
9. Royal Museum - National Palace
The former official residence of the King and Queen of Malaysia has now ben converted into a museum where visitors can tour the official reception rooms and private apartments of the royal family. There is no changing of the guard here anymore (that takes place outside the new palace) but this museum remains one of the top KL attractions.
10. Batu Caves
This is one of my personal favourites. It is a massive cave temple on the northern fringes of the city. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs to see the main cave.

Interesting Places at Selangor and Kuala Lumpur
Tempat Menarik Dan Percutian Di Selangor dan Kuala Lumpur | Selangor sememangnya antara syurga perlancongan di Malaysia. Berikutan cuti sekolah yang semakin hampir pada Jun ini, admin kongsikan beberapa senarai tempat dan perlancongan menarik di Selangor.
1- Kuala Lumpur International Airport
Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) terletak di Sepang, dibuka pada tahun 1998. Lokasinya adalah sekitar 50 kilometer dari ibukota, Kuala Lumpur. KLIA dibina dengan kos $ 3.5 billion.
2- Pulau Ketam
Pulau ini merupakan kampung nelayan yang menarik pengunjung dengan suasana desa yang unik. Anda boleh manaiki bot, menginap di homestay, memancing dan melihat burung.
3- Sunway Lagoon Water Park
Sunway Lagoon Water Park merupakan taman tema air pertama air bakuyang terdapat di Malaysia. Banyak sukan dan permainan yang berasaskan air terdapat di sana. Anda juga boleh membeli belah dan menginap di hotel.
4- Batu Caves
Terletak 15 km sebelah utara Kuala Lumpur. Sebuah tarikan pelancongan yang popular, terutama ketika festival Hindu – Thaipusam, yang jatuh pada akhir Mac setiap tahun. Kuil Hindu terletak di Gua Utama yang mempunyai 272 anak tangga.
5- Mines Wonderland
Sebuah taman yang menarik dengan tema Musical Fountain, Rumah Salju, trem, dan pelbagai jenis permainan . Pada malam hari gemerlapan anda boleh merasai susasa yang menakjubkan dengan persembahan multimedia dan cahaya laser.
6- Paya Indah Wetlands
Merupakan taman eko-pelancongan seluas sekitar 3.100 hektar yang terletak di Kuala Langat. Tempat ini menggabungkan teknologi pertanian moden bagi mencipta suatu ekosistem yang seimbang.
7- Zoo Negara
Merupakan zoo kebangsaan pertama di Malaysia. Ia telah dibuka pada tahun 1963. Sampai sekarang, zoo negara dimiliki dan dikendalikan oleh Zoological Society Malaysia. Zoo Negara merupakan tarikan yang menarik untuk dilihat oleh pengunjung.
8- Litar Antarabangsa Sepang
Litar Antarabangsa Sepang merupakan litar sukan motor Malaysia yang terbaik dan mempunyai kemudahan terbesar dari jenisnya di dunia. Litar ini boleh menampung 130,000 penonton pada satu-satu masa.
9- Wet World, Shah Alam

Terletak di Shah Alam. Wet World merupakan taman tema air yang sangat menyeronokkan. Ia juga terletak bersebelahan dengan Tasik Shah Alam dan akuaria, jadi keluarga boleh juga melawati kawasan tersebut. Pastinya, pengunjung akan merasa puas apabila memasuki ke kawasan Wet world ini.
10- Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam/ Taman Pertanian Bukit Cherakah
Terletak di Shah Alam. Sangat menarik dan strategik serta penuh kehijauan. Terdapat pelbagai aktiviti boleh dilakukan disana. Berbasikal, flyfishing,camping dll.Selain itu rumah 4 musim dan taman rempah ratus juga menarik perhatian. Selain itu SkytrexAdventure Park juga menawarkan aktiviti riadah lasak lain seperti.

Terletak di Banting, Selangor. Merupakan tempat yang terkenal untuk sukan Paragliding tempat iaitu permainan luncur udara bagi Negeri Selangor. Rumah api pun ada di sini.
12- Pantai Morib, Banting Selangor
Pantai Morib menjadi tumpuan kerana anda berpeluang melihat pemandangan matahari terbenam di sini. Sebab itulah Goldcoast Sepang dibangunkan di Sepang, semata-mata untuk menikmati keindahan dan suasana matahari terbenam! Sejak tahun 2010, Pantai Morib telah berubah menjadi lebih baik, dengan idea lanskap yang menarik untuk riadah sekeluarga. Datanglah ke Morib!
13- Sepang Gold Coast dan Pantai Bagan Lalang
Bagan Lalang is a beach destination near Sungai Pelek town in Sepang district, about 60km from Kuala Lumpur. Once a quiet fishing village, the Sepang Gold Coast integrated resort development has transformed the area into a booming holiday retreat; the Golden Palm Tree Sea Villas the first of a series of luxury hotel and apartment projects. Meanwhile, international visitors transiting at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) 30km away have a convenient spot for a quick sojourn as they await the next flight out. Finally, sunny weather, calm sea, beautiful scenery and easy access from KL enhances the travel appeal to this tropical getaway.

The WaterWorld @ I-City theme park is located within the grounds of the technology based hub of I-City in Shah Alam Selangor.

15- Bukit Melawati
Berbicara tentang Bukit Malawati pasti terbayangkan Rumah Api yang masih berdiri teguh di puncak Bukit Melawati. Selain Rumah Api yang dibina pada tahun 1907, pengunjung yang datang juga berpeluang untuk melihat kesan sejarah lain ini seperti Meriam purba, Batu Hampar, Perigi Beracun, dan Muzium Sejarah Kuala Selangor yang dulunya adalah kediaman rasmi Pegawai Daerah Kuala Selangor. Di puncak bukit ini juga terdapat Balai Cerap iaitu tempat melihatnya anak bulan bagi menentukan tarikh bermula Ramadhan dan Syawal.
16. Kelip-Kelip Kampung Kuantan
Kampung Kuantan adalah sebuah perkampungan kecil yang dikelilingi oleh pohon-pohon kelapa dan kelapa sawit. Kampung ini terletak kira-kira 56km dari Kuala Lumpur dan 9km dari Kuala Selangor. Kampung yang indah dan permai ini sangat sesuai untuk mereka yang inginkan suasana tenang untuk beristirehat and melapangkan fikiran, jauh daripada hiruk-pikuk dan kesibukan kota. Di kawasan berhampiran, terdapat beberapa tempat pelancongan yang menarik seperti Bukit Malawati yang bersejarah dan Taman Alam Kuala Selangor yang mempunyai pelbagai spesis burung-burung.
17. KidZania KL
KidZania KL merupakan satu tempat perlancongan baru di Kuala Lumpur. Andai anda inginkan anak-anak anda merasa pengalaman menjadi seorang dewasa seperti pemandu kapalterbang, pelayan restoran, jururawat, pembaca berita, pekerja bank dan banyak lagi... ini adalah tempat yang paling sesuai sekali.
